Rage Against the Media is dedicated to the goal of holding protests across the country,  in cities big and small, from one coast to the other.  We want EVERYONE to have the opportunity to voice their RAGE at the corrupt and dishonest media.

How do we do this best? In big cities, we have coordinators who will select one media site from many possibilities, and who will be the coordinator of the press for coverage, for any entertainment, for speakers and permits, if required.  In smaller locations, we also need coordinators to find the best media site for the protest, which may be a TV studio, but might also be a radio station or local paper.

Coordinators in these smaller areas are also responsible for spreading the word, coordinating the press, and for finding any speakers if they choose.    The idea is to have a presence at as many media sites as possible across the country, and to show, in an orderly and respectful way, how angry we are at how badly they have betrayed the American people.

We have provided  a list of suggestions below, and these can be used by anyone, at any site. Even if there is nothing being coordinated near you, you can STILL Be heard in various ways.

The message we want to send to the media, and to the public at large, is this:

  • WE ARE ANGRY and we have plenty of reasons for being angry.
  • ALL Americans have suffered because of the agenda-driven media, and the damage now is global.
  • But even though we are ANGRY, we are demonstrating in a peaceful, non-violent way.

We want the media to sit up and take notice that WE THE PEOPLE have been BETRAYED by them and we are ANGRY.  WHAT THEY DO CAUSES REAL DAMAGE and NOW, FINALLY, we are holding them accountable.

Everything that we do at these protests should reflect this message.  All information will be shared on the RAGE AGAINST THE MEDIA Facebook page; we will also be using the twitter hashtag (Google hashtag if you’re not sure what that is): #RageAgainstTheMedia.

RAGE AGAINST THE MEDIA Protest Suggestions:

1)  For your area, identify one specific site to rally the greatest number of people

2)  Reach out via all networking available in your area to advertise the protest.    We will coordinate via twitter and Facebook.

3) Protesting on sidewalks is generally permitted, as long as clear passage is not obstructed, but please check with local ordinances. If sound systems are used, permits are generally required.

4)  Out of respect for the cause, we hope that these protests maintain a level of conduct that reflects well on us.   Respect for each other and for the site should be maintained at all times.  While these are not Tea Party gatherings, “historically” the Tea Party has proven itself to be exemplary in all aspects of public events, and we hope that the same will be demonstrated here.

5)  It is assumed that people will carry signs.  Signs should be clear about the source of our rage, without profanity and without insulting individuals.  Ad hominem attacks are not how we operate. In addition, while it may seem petty, we are judged by our spelling. As above, out of respect for the cause that we are fighting for, we hope that these signs are made with care and attention.

6)  We also recommend that you have flyers to hand out that explain why you are angry. Some examples of these are on the Facebook page

7)   We have a right to be enraged, but hope that our rage can be contained and focused in a productive and responsible manner.

Remember:

  • Be Angry but Be Respectful
  • Keep it Clean, Keep it Clear
  • And don’t forget:  Breitbart is Here.
